Green Woodlands

All of our cabins are alongside the trails at Green Woodlands. June 1st through November 1st their 70+ miles of mountain bike trails are free for public use. Throughout the winter, they groom their 35+ miles of professionally groomed XC ski trails, also at no charge.

This is a wonderful place for kids of all ages to see interactive, natural exhibits that hold many different animals. Mountain lions, black bears, otters and bobcats to name a few! Their open meadows and marsh boardwalks create the environment to enjoy a great day outdoors.

Ski Mountains

Ice Skating

The ice arena is open for public skate hours and offers skate rentals on site all for an affordable price.  Check the ice arena's website for the daily schedule. 

Located in Enfiled, NH, this local outdoor lake skating is a great winter activity.  Guests must bring their own skates.  Check the Mascoma Lake Skating website for up to date information about conditions.

Just a 30 mile drive from Trailside Stays are larger than life ice castles and tunnels, an absolute must see in the winter! It is highly recommended to purchase your tickets ahead of time online.
